Jack McPhail 6 Dog Race

The Jack McPhail 6 Dog Race is a two day race which takes place on Thursday and Friday.  Each day consists of a 15 mile lap.

The races are named after Jack McPhail who was a local racer and long time volunteer with the World Championship Dog Race. ¬†Jack’s influence on the races is still seen with his son Bob, who has won several races and grandson Donny Poulin, who has won multiple Manitoba Championships and will be a feature racer again this year.

Races start at 10:30, shortly after the World Championship race has taken off.
