The Jack McPhail 6 Dog Race is a two day race which takes place on Thursday and Friday. Each day consists of a 15 mile lap.
The races are named after Jack McPhail who was a local racer and long time volunteer with the World Championship Dog Race. Jack’s influence on the races is still seen with his son Bob, who has won several races and grandson Donny Poulin, who has won multiple Manitoba Championships and will be a feature racer again this year.
Races start at 10:30, shortly after the World Championship race has taken off.
